Southside Social and Barn Dance 2010

It's that time of year once again...The Southside Social and Barn Dance is nearly upon us.

You are cordially invited to attend

The So
uthside Social And Barn Dance

July 9th and 10th, 2010

The Southside Social is a yearly gathering of performers, families, craftspeople, musicians, artists, friends, anarchists, teachers, rural clans, urban escapees, and freaks of all kinds. Festivities begin Friday at 3pm. The Social also hosts a variety of workshops, a potluck kitchen, a bake sale/burrito bar/espresso stand, creek side swimming, musical and theatrical entertainment, and more. We encourage you to arrive on Friday and camp through the weekend. Please carpool, onsite parking is very limited!

The Southside Social and Barn Dance is offered free of charge. We need your help to keep this event going by purchasing a t-shirt, making a donation, attending a work party, etc. So please plan to buy some shirts, coffee, or make a donation based on what you can afford to contribute. Thanks!

Yes!: Carpooling, camping, families, volunteers, community, fun.
No!: DOGS! campfires, underage drinking, or j
erks.
Please be a good guest and leave the pooch at home for this event. Because of past issues and too many people ignoring our request, we’re going to have to turn people with dogs away this year. Also, this is old news.. but as we prefer not to have cops attend our little soiree, we request that minors refrain from imbibing. Please be respectful.

Festivities to include:
Junkyard Amy Lee
Bare Feet
Rifle Breath
The Hilltones
Anarchists’ Union
Dead Uncle Steamer
Blandow C.
Jesus Chords
White Trash Compactor
The Kings
Lucky Devil Girly Show
And more TBA!!

If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact us ASAP! We love help! Info can be found at www.finneyfarm.blogspot.com or info@finneyfarm.org or by calling 360-826-3734.

PLEASE NOTE!!!!! A few changes this year: we've expanded our annual garden space so our parking area as well as field camping is greatly reduced. Please carpool. We like to get everyone inside the gate as cars parked alongside the highway may be vandalized and/or towed but we have very limited parking. Also, be prepared to camp in wooded areas. We will not be able to allow people to tent camp alongside their vehicle due to space constraints. Thanks for planning ahead, and understanding.
